Every room can be done on any budget! That's the most important thing to remember when designing a space, whether its a complete overhaul or just simple touches to freshen up a room. My most important piece of advice is make a budget and stick to it. Normally I give myself 10% over my budget for wiggle room for those "just in case" items or those "I can't live without" items. When shopping for items, always look different places! Thanks to the internet you have so many stores at your finger tips. I use Pinterest a lot for inspiration. The thing I love about Pinterest is you can shop for those items you see. But to stay on budget I will sometimes find something that looks very similar with a much better price tag.
